Terms & Conditions of Use
For the Cape Town Florist to process your order we need information such as your full name, e-mail address, contact number, delivery address and payment details.
Please note if you do not receive an official “Order Confirmation”, from us (The Cape Town Florist), your order has not be processed and completed properly. If you receive a “Payment Confirmation”, from our credit card facilitator (VCS), but no “Order Confirmation” from us please contact us immediately.
Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received by The Cape Town Florist and until we are satisfied with the integrity of the order.
The Cape Town Florist reserves the right to request additional information from the purchaser for whatever reason they deem fit. We may request a copy of the card used to make the online purchase, copy of the purchasers I.D or Passport and proof of residential address.
It is the obligation of the purchaser to provide us (The Cape Town Florist) with the correct and complete delivery details at the time of ordering. Phone numbers are essential to ensure a smooth delivery. If the delivery details supplied to us are incorrect and/or missing information is supplied we will not be held responsible and will under no circumstances refund. Should the purchaser wish for us to re-deliver, a re-delivery fee would apply. We will not be held responsible for spoiled flowers or fruit in this event.
In the event of the recipient not being able to sign for the gifts or flowers at the time of delivery, at the address supplied, the gifts or flowers will be left with the reception, security, another member of the family, domestic worker etc. Under no circumstances
will we attempt delivery if we are unable to confirm with the recipient
that there will be somebody at home to receive the flowers or gifts. The purchaser will be informed via email that we were unable to contact the recipient prior to delivery.
In the event of nobody being at the address given at the time of delivery, a calling card will be left instructing the recipient to call us and arrange for a suitable delivery time. A re-delivery fee may apply. It is thus extremely important for us to be supplied with correct and relevant delivery details. We will not be held responsible for spoiled flowers or fruit in this event.
The Cape Town Florist cannot guarantee any special delivery times. We will do our best to arrange for the delivery to happen around the time specified by you but will not guarantee this service.
The Cape Town Florist is closed on Weekends and Public Holidays and will deliver any orders received on these days within 1-2 business days following or on your preferred delivery date if possible. The Cape Town Florist will be closed from the 24th of December until the 7th /8th of January every year to give our staff the well deserved rest that they deserve.
At certain times throughout the year flowers, hamper contents and containers will need to be substituted to ensure a timeous delivery. These items will always be substituted with items of similar value. We will always use our professional discretion to make sure that the "look and feel "of the flower arrangement or bouquet remains the same.
Prices of goods and services displayed on the “The Cape Town Florist” website are current at the time of display but are subject to variation without notice.
